We started our morning with our CHPW Quarterly All-Staff Meeting where our CEO, Leanne Berge, and leadership spoke about our recent achievements and ongoing goals. One of those achievements is our recent recognition by the NCQA with the Multicultural Health Care distinction. For us, it is a reflection of our mission and who we are.
‘We’re proud to say that we’ve been recognized with the Multicultural Health Care distinction by the National Committee for Quality Assurance for our efforts to make health care more equitable, fair, and available.
Community Health Plan of Washington was founded so that no one would be left behind by the health care system. We have continued to focus on access and inclusion so that everyone has the opportunity to be healthy, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, language preference, racial identity, gender identity, class or cultural differences.’
